Cursor organizes a series of Desperados Nocturno samplings in the retail channel


Cursor, a company specializing in field marketing and e-logistics services, is in charge for a sampling event covering new Desperados product. All the activities are carried out in retail stores in both modern and traditional channels. 200 samplers of Cursor will promote Desperados Nocturno beer in the points of sale located in 30 Polish cities.

Following a successful tender process, Cursor gained a new client. Under the project, the company has elaborated an action plan and manages the sampling schedule; it also holds the responsibility for the recruitment and training of the teams involved in the event. Production and logistics of promotional materials (including stands) is within Cursor’s competence as well.

During the sampling at the retail level, we are going to give away 160,000 cans holding 330 ml of new flavour of Desperados beer. The project concept was tailored to the specificity of the target group. The aim of the event is to reach persons looking for an effective way to get a party going and keep boredom away – said Agnieszka Belusiak, Account Director, Field Marketing Department at Cursor S.A.

The campaign was planned in full compliance with Desperados Nocturno promotion strategy. The sampling teams are made up of young and open-minded persons with positive attitude. Their main focus is to build awareness of the new brand among the target group as well as to encourage potential customers to give the new product a try.

So far, Cursor has conducted several hundreds of sampling events, including image and sale campaigns. We have an extensive network of employees all over the country which allows us to launch a project of any size in a short time, and adapt it to the needs of our clients – added Agnieszka Belusiak.

On 15 July, Cursor embarked on the project which is planned to be implemented by the end of August 2015. More than 200 samplers, supervisors and technicians will participate in the campaign.

Well-structured sampling is a successful form of promotion. It is very important, however, to reach out to potential recipients of a given product. Therefore, we attach great importance to trainings of sampling team and choice of the right form of communication – concluded Agnieszka Belusiak.

Desperados Nocturno is a tequila flavoured beer with dark rum and mezcal. It is available in 400 ml bottles and 500 ml cans. Desperados Nocturno is the third available flavour in addition to Desperados and Desperados Red.
